Dave Workman
Healthy, focused churches require healthy, focused leaders. The future of the Vineyard mission depends on the spiritual vitality and vision of its leaders. Not only do we need to sharpen key elements of effective leadership—empowering volunteers, moving others toward a collective vision, modeling integrity, shaking up the status quo, and thirsting for God-infused direction—but also read the pulse of a radically shifting culture. 4WARD-thinking leadership is essential for the future.
Dave Workman is Senior Pastor of Vineyard Community Church in Cincinnati, Ohio, a church of 6000 weekend attenders. Starting in 1985, the Vineyard pioneered a unique form of outreach called
servant evangelism. Dave is considered an
atmosphere architect in the evolution of the church. After leading worship for 12 years and developing celebration/programming teams for 8 weekly celebrations, he began regularly teaching as a primary speaker. In 2000, Dave stepped into the role of Senior Pastor. He and his wife Anita live in Mason, Ohio with their two children, Rachel and Katie.
