About Dave:
Dave Nixon is the director a Sustainable Faith, a non-profit that operates out of a renovated convent and introduces pastors to the contemplative dimension of the gospel and explores the nature of ministry and spiritual formation in the 21st century. In January 2008 he started the School of Spiritual Direction, the first formal training program in the Vineyard for spiritual directors. He has worked extensively with Vineyard USA since 2004 at various Pastoral Sabbath Retreats around the country. From 2004-06 he served as the Discipleship Pastor of the Vineyard in Florence KY. He was the founding pastor of Vineyard Central in Norwood OH where he served for 7 years (1993-2000) and still resides with his wife Jody. They're about to celebrate their 32nd wedding anniversary. Somewhere along the way he learned how to rehab old homes and sand floors.
